We Make History Fun!How cool would it be to have a birthday party in a fort? We love to make history fun by offering birthday parties and sleepovers in the Fort for kids and youth groups! Our intriguing escape room experiences are available for both kids and adults!
Fun at the Fort
Fort Ligonier’s summer day camp is legendary! Campers experience 18th century frontier life while exploring the Fort, playing games, creating crafts and making new friends. The fun and interactive experience is geared for kids who have completed kindergarten through sixth grade. Advance registration required.
Kids (ages 5-12) have a BLAST at this FREE, fun and educational program! Participants play 18th century games; go on scavenger hunts and museum quests. Kids are welcome to attend one club meeting or all six! Pre-registration is required and spaces fill quickly!
Fort Ligonier is a fun and unique place to host children (ages 5-12) birthday parties! Choose either a historic building or an outdoor multi-purpose space (April-November) between daily hours of operation for your party’s headquarters. The Fort Ligonier Center for History Education is not available for kid’s birthday parties.
Youth and student groups will have a BLAST at an overnight in the Fort (May-October). Sleep in a tent or the barracks just like the soldiers in 1758. Sit around a campfire (weather permitting) and hear riveting stories about General John Forbes and Colonel George Washington. Winter sleepovers available in the Fort Ligonier Center for History Education.
Fort Ligonier creates entertaining and educational Escape Room experiences with an historical twist! Participants and their teams have 60-minutes to find clues, solve puzzles to escape to freedom. This is also a fun team-building experience for co-workers! Escape room experiences are designed for a minimum group of 10 guests, ages seven and up.
