Fort Ligonier Leadership Institute “Genesis of Leadership”

8:00 am - 8:00 pm

Fort Ligonier is proud to partner with the U.S. Army War College/Heritage and Education Center to offer a free leadership seminar for young adults (ages 15-25) based on the growth and development of George Washington during the French and Indian War in Western Pennsylvania, 1753-1758.

Join us for an all-day leadership seminar filled with valuable lectures, experiences, exercises, and more!

This extraordinary program will provide participants an opportunity to develop their own leadership skills through the proven examples of young Washington. History lectures by renowned authors; first-person presentations by historians who portray Washington, participatory programming including dancing and theatrical activities are part of the educational experience. After spending the day walking in the footsteps of the young Virginian colonel and becoming immersed with his successes and failures, attendees’ leadership potential will have been enhanced.
