Virtual Tipsy History “The Birthday Roast of George Washington”

7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Sip your favorite spirit and join us for "The Birthday Roast of George Washington."

Join Fort Ligonier’s Director of History and Collections, Erica Nuckles, Ph.D. and Director of Education, Matt Gault for Fort Ligonier’s slightly tamer version of Comedy Central’s Drunk History, an American educational television comedy program. Erica and Matt will have a lively discussion about our beloved first President who was only 26-years old and a young Virginia Colonel George Washington while at Fort Ligonier in 1758. While imbibing on their favorite spirits, they’ll roast (good-naturedly) G.W. and entertain you with fun facts about his life and military career.

This is an adult program so make sure to put in those ear buds around the kids (language involved in program)! A strong internet connection will be necessary for this program due to it being live and on ZOOM.

ONLY ONE ZOOM LINK IS NEEDED PER HOUSEHOLD.

Cost: $10 Zoom Link | Event is live at 7:00 PM.

Your purchase supports Fort Ligonier’s preservation projects.
