Plymouth Fife and Drum Corps Performance
2:00 pm - 3:00 pm
Please join us for a rare performance in the Upper Fort by the Plymouth Fife and Drum Corps! The group performs in the Center for History Education in the event of inclement weather.
Fifing and drumming was used during times of war to relay commands to soldiers, direct movements of units, as well as to provide inspiration and marching rhythm. The sounds of the fifes and pounding of the drums could be heard over the cries of battle. Their music spans the 17th to 20th centuries with an emphasis on music played during the Revolutionary War.
Regular admission applies.
