2009 Schedule of Special Events:

Fort Ligonier will commemorate the Year of Victories (1759-2009) with several events throughout the season:

• April 15: Fort Ligonier Opens for 2009 Season
• June 14: Meet Mount Vernon's George Washington (portrayed by Dean Malissa)
  Also, Dr. Kinorea 'Two Feather' Tigri, instructor of Native Culture,
  and Blacksmithing demonstrations by Jymm Hoffman
  11:30 AM - 4:30 PM
• July 18-19: French Attack on Fort Ligonier Redoubt
• October 10-11: Fort Ligonier Days
• October 29: Ghosts and Legends of Fort Ligonier
